Accessibility statement

Our commitment

YesWeSure is committed to making its content usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We design and build to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the W3C.

Conformance target

Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We review the site against this target on an ongoing basis and track known gaps below. The current site is reviewed with both automated tooling and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing before every release.

What is in place today

• Every page sets its language and includes a landmark structure (header, main, footer).
• A "Skip to main content" link is the first focusable element on every page.
• Interactive elements show a visible focus ring when reached by keyboard.
• Navigation menus, dropdowns, and the mobile menu can be fully operated by keyboard, including Escape to close.
• Form fields have real labels; errors are announced to assistive technologies.
• Animated elements, such as the hero accent line, honour the prefers-reduced-motion system preference.
• Text colors meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their backgrounds (3:1 for large text).

Known limitations

No known accessibility defects at this time. We also note that automated accessibility tooling catches only part of the picture, so we welcome reports of anything we may have missed.

Reporting an issue

If you encounter a page or feature that is difficult to use with assistive technology, please email accessibility@yeswesure.com with:

• the URL of the page involved,
• the assistive technology or browser you were using, and
• a short description of the problem.

We aim to acknowledge every report within 5 business days and to follow up with a resolution plan or fix within 15 business days.

Alternate formats

If you need content from YesWeSure in a different format (for example, a plain-text transcript of a page you cannot read in the current layout), email accessibility@yeswesure.com with the URL and the format you need. We will respond within 5 business days with a request-specific timeline.

Standards we follow

• WCAG 2.2 Level AA (target).
• WAI-ARIA 1.2 patterns for interactive widgets where applicable.
• HTML5 landmark roles and heading structure.

No accessibility overlay

YesWeSure does not install any third-party accessibility overlay or widget. Overlays frequently interfere with assistive technology and obscure real accessibility problems; we prefer to fix issues in the underlying site.
